3th Year of International EMS Competition

The success of the previous two years of the rally and the interest from the rescue services required a continuation, and that is why Rallye Rejvíz 99 is here. The total capacity of 30 crews was almost exhausted this year – 27 rescue service crews participated. The 1999 vintage was conceived as a star ride centered on Boheme.
In 1999, rescue crews from Slovakia (Bratislava, Kežmarok) and foreign observers took part in the rally for the first time:

- Francis Mencl, Director of Emergency Admission, Acron Hospital, Ohio, USA
- Luis Castrillo, Director of the Center for Postgraduate Medical Education, Spain
- Marcelo Muro, Director of the Department of Prehospital Emergency Care, Ministry of Health, Argentina
The accompanying program was again held in the grounds of the former barracks in Jeseník under the name "Rescuers for children" and featured, for example:
- final of the children's competition "Helpík's Cup"
- demonstration of motorcycles by the Police of the Czech Republic
- demonstration and test drive of the Czech Police scooter
- demonstrations of firemen's technique, extrication from a vehicle
- demonstration and test drives of Volkswagen and Audi vehicles by Auto Heller Ostrava
